Greenwood Village, CO — After another day of silence from Governor Jared Polis on the scandal unfolding at Colorado’s Office of Emergency Management, Republican Gubernatorial candidate Heidi Ganahl is calling on Polis to immediately fire director Mike Willis and for an explanation of how long Polis has known about this.

“Colorado will not accept this type of behavior from our appointed state officials, and Governor Polis needs to fire Mike Willis immediately. Additionally, we need to know when Governor Polis first knew about years of complaints surrounding Mike Willis and why he has failed to act,” said Ganahl.

The original bombshell story was published in the Denver Post on Monday, July 25th. Polis refused to comment.

Yesterday, the Colorado Sun and Denver Post both did follow up stories. Polis refused to comment.

How long will Jared Polis hide from the press about this scandal?
